A series of an abstract journey highlighting cloudscapes upon the Canadian horizon in an array of reflective states.
Construction challenges
Here in, The RISING, I could take what I knew about shades of light using only one colour and mixing each shade with white. To avoid brush strokes I used my hands on the canvas. Hard-edged effects helped combine my thoughts with passages of abstract inspiration, representative of a beautiful sunrise mindscape. In doing so, I was able to come up with a series of paintings that peacefully settled on the serene comforts of an impactful horizon.
